What TrustSales does

TrustSales lets Shopify merchants display verified store revenue on a public profile. To do this, we read order data from the Shopify stores that merchants explicitly connect to their account.

Data we collect

• From Shopify: order totals, refund totals, order dates and currency, limited to what is needed to compute daily revenue aggregates. We store only the aggregated daily figures (gross sales, refunds, net revenue, order count). We do not access, request, or store any customer personal data: no names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
• From X (Twitter): your public profile (id, display name, username, profile picture) when you sign in, used to create your account and public profile page.

How data is protected

• All data is transferred over TLS.
• Shopify access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are read-only, limited to the orders scope.
• Revenue data is stored as daily aggregates only; raw orders are never persisted.

Retention and deletion

Uninstalling the TrustSales app from your Shopify store disconnects it immediately. All data related to a store is permanently deleted upon Shopify's shop redaction request (48 hours after uninstall). You can also request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

What we never do

• We never sell or share your data with third parties.
• We never write anything to your Shopify store or X account.
• We never display store details you have chosen to keep hidden.
